I am BLOG! Over one thousand years ago I was cursed by an evil witch. Put here, in a dimension where my people do not exist, unable to return home for one thousand years plus one year for each time my name is thought or spoken. Her intent with this caveat was not to add time, but to articulate my solitude. For you see, she made me aware of my time. In the back of my mind is an ever present timer, and it was steadily counting down until 1997. The year Jorn Barger coing the term "Weblog," and then in 1999 it began to count up and up, that was the year some asshole shortened "Weblog" to "BLOG." This comic's creator finds my plight funny, and keeps me here to mock me. Alas! But you can be better! Please! Stop reading, writing, or talking about blogs! Encourage others to do so! Save me!
